Take part in a new project under the IWA Cities of the Future Programme!

Are you a Young Professional who sees the need for new ways to collaborate across sectors to make a difference?

Then join us in Gothenburg to brainstorm on a new project under the IWA Cities of the Future Programme! This is a call to all Young Professionals (YPs) who work in the urban water sector who see the need for new ways to collaborate across sectors to make a difference.
If you have an idea, please submit your proposal, and join us at the conference in Gothenburg or follow the discussion on IWA-Connect.

In Gothenburg, we will brainstorm on ideas from the proposals and shape them further. We will then select 2-3 projects to be posted on IWA-Connect, and from there we will see which one seems the most promising.
The selected project will receive the support of IWA, who will reach out to its partnering organisations and companies to offer connections to other professional networks. You may include projects that are ongoing, i.e. Urban Labs, City Blueprints, and more, and ways in which these can be scaled up for a water-wise world.

Participating in a project is a way to grow your network and contribute to shaping a water-wise world. The selected project will aim to be high impact and to foster a group of change makers towards water-wise cities. What are you waiting for!

Urban Labs

In conjunction to the conference three Urban Labs have been arranged and Young Professionals from around the globe have participated. During the final day of Embrace the Water they will present their work. Be sure to check it out!
